Extremely warm, welcoming friendly service from the owner, Paul! His kindness and helpfulness is enough to make us come back! We ordered 3 entrees and all were delicious and very gourmet! We also enjoyed their horchata! I highly recommend. There is no other taco place in Madison quite like Tacos el Capi.

They really go all out at this place, obviously didn’t skimp just because it was a take out order! The dining in seating is pretty limited, but clean and fresh. The turn around time on orders is super fast and tacos el Capi is consistently my go-to for a filling, delicious meal on a lunch break.

What a great taco place to have on the east side! If you’re looking for some bomb authentic Mexican food this is the spot. We had el pastor tacos and birria tacos - we were very impressed with both. The staff is very friendly and it is a clean, good atmosphere. Our food came out very quickly as well. I am so excited to come back on the weekends for $10 tamale platters.

Pretty good food, although for the price the burritos were pretty small, and since we heard about this place from a Mexican student my wife teaches, we had high hopes for authenticity. Fries with a burrito? Not something I've seen in Mexico but okay. My wife's trio of tacos were quite good though, she said. Decor was very much a "we got a lease in a strip mall and we're trying to make the best of it" sort of feel. Which is fine, as they're starting out.
